Testimonials

  • Visited the store earlier today and even though they didn't have exactly what I wanted, I still walked away with 3 equally as good items in very good condition for only £80 (with delivery too). The staff were very helpful and friendly, even the decorator helped me on occasions. Would highly recommend to anybody. I will certainly visit again.

ReUse Together recycles white goods and brown furniture, carpet tiles and other household bits and pieces.

Based in Blackburn, Lancashire at the Glenfield Park on Philips Road, Re-Use Together brings benefits to customers of the Together Housing Group by providing easy access to good quality, new and pre-used, furniture and other household items at affordable prices.

Working with Newground CIC this is another example of how the Together Housing Group is creating new skills and opportunities for our communities. Re-Use Together will create a range of paid jobs for the local community such as, office, warehouse and delivery roles, as well as apprenticeship and volunteering opportunities.

Project members will work with Twin Valley Homes (a member of the Together Housing Group) environmental team and void/cleaning teams to identify re-usable items and to divert items from landfill, bringing both environmental and financial benefits.

Local companies are encouraged to work with ReUse Together to help them address waste streams and reduce items going to landfill.

Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council is also working with the project to bring in reusable furniture from bulky household waste collections.

ReUse Together is an exciting new opportunity for the Together Housing Group, and the aim is to roll this project out across the Group in the near future, for the benefit of customers.

Reuse Together have a number of services which are available. Please contact us for a quote.
